whole grain buns with avocado, added hummus after I took this, and small tomatoes

my breakfast, December 15th, 2011.

Banana slices with organic chunky peanut butter, and green tea:)

Bean burger, made tuesday dec. 13th,2011 :) I couldn’t get the best pictures, but i tried. It was so good. 

Ingredients and recipe:

1 1/2 cups cooked or 1(15.5ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
3 Tablespoons wheat gluten flour
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup minced red onion(i used a regular onion)
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil(for skillet)
4 burger rolls

how to;
1.Put beans in bowl and mash well.
2.Sprinkle flour on beans and mix well to combine.
3.Add everything but the olive oil to the mixture and mix well
4. Use your hands to shape the mixture into 4 small patties.
5. heat a skillet, putting two Tablespoons of olive oil in the pan, than turn heat down to medium heat(you may need more olive oil than suggested…but use your judgement, we used more)
6. add the burgers, cover, and cook for five minutes.
7. flip the burgers, than uncovered cook for five more minutes
